Beef-Max Top Choice Show Cattle Ration is an “All Natural” 14% protein feed containing a balanced blend of proteins and energy for rapid weight gain, conditioning or maintenance. Formulated with steam rolled and cracked corn, oats and a fortified protein pellet, Top Choice supplies the energy and concentrated protein for accelerated gains. This sweet - textured feed complements both, pasture / forage feeding programs as well as confinement feeding for growing and conditioning show cattle.
Beef Max Top Choice is a unique, nutrient dense ration featuring ingredient technologies from Alltech® including Yea Sacc® live yeast culture, BioPlex® organic copper, zinc, manganese and cobalt, and Sel Plex® organic selenium. These ingredients provide for maximum efficient growth and development for all classes of cattle.
FEEDING
- Beef-Max Top Choice Show Cattle Ration is a grain concentrate for growing or conditioning cattle (bulls, cows, heifers or steers). Feed as the grain portion of a complete ration with pasture and/or hay according to condition desired.
- Proper feeding of show calves and other rapidly growing animals requires individual feeding and attention. Variation in feeding amounts will differ among calves depending on calf type, breed, frame size and desired growth performance.
- As a general rule, high performing growing and finishing calves have a requirement of 2-3% of their body-weight in feed, on a dry matter basis. This includes grain plus roughage-hay or forage (grazing).
