PDQ 20
PDQ 20 Pasture Supplement is a highly fortified, 20% protein, free – choice pasture supplement with concentrated levels of minerals and vitamins. PDQ 20 is specifically designed to complement fall and winter grazing conditions. The combination of protein, vitamins and minerals in PDQ 20 help to overcome winter grazing nutrient shortages. As a winter pasture supplement, PDQ 20 enhances existing winter protein supplements or, offered alone, provides brood cows and bulls with needed protein and minerals for a successful calving and rebreeding.
The protein concentration in PDQ 20 is from plant protein sources and a portion from non- protein nitrogen for readily available nitrogen for rumen microbial stimulation.
PDQ 20 is formulated with the most bio-available mineral ingredients including sulfates and Bioplex® Quadra–Formula Proteinated Trace Mineral Blend and Sel-Plex® organic selenium from Alltech®. Quadra –Formula is a blend of proteinated Cobalt, Copper, Manganese and Zinc. Sel-Plex® is an organic form of selenium as selenium yeast. Both are designed for maximum mineral absorption and retention, providing essential fortification for increased mineral status in cattle.
FEEDING
PDQ 20 Pasture Supplement is designed to be fed free-choice. For best results providing effective protein, minerals and vitamins, mature cattle on adequate pasture should consume 16-32 ounces per head daily. Intake levels will vary according to pasture conditions.
- Remove other salt sources.
- Offer PDQ 20 Pasture Supplement free choice near normal feeding or loafing areas.
- Feed PDQ 20 Pasture Supplement in clean troughs or feeders and only put out a 7 - 10 day supply at a time.
