Alltech, a global leader in animal health and nutrition, has proudly announced Lakeland Animal Nutrition as a feed partner for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Lakeland Animal Nutrition is one of 21 global feed partners who have united with Alltech in a collaborative effort to promote and achieve the highest level of performance for the competitors of the largest sporting event held in the United States since the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

At a press conference held today, Lakeland Animal Nutrition unveiled their new "Signature Brand" look for their equine feeds. The new bag design features a co-branding of the Lakeland Animal Nutrition and Alltech logos as well as the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games logo, which is exclusive to partners.

Established in 1919, Lakeland Animal Nutrition manufactures a complete line of feeds and supplements for all types of horses. Lakeland Animal Nutrition specializes in developing products particularly suited for the unique forage and climate conditions of the Florida market.

The purpose of the Alltech Feed Partner Program is to identify key players who can serve as multipliers of the message of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. This strategic partnership with Alltech includes collaborative sales, marketing, and advertising activities as well as hospitality opportunities in the build-up to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, to be held in Lexington, KY, USA from September 25 - October 10, 2010, are the world championships of the eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Held outside of Europe for the first time, the 16-day competition involving 800 riding competitors and 900 horses from over 60 countries is expected to be attended by 600,000 spectators and viewed on television by an international audience of more than 460 million people.
