Cattle Conditioner
Beef-Max Cattle Conditioner 1 is an “All Natural” 16% protein, sweet textured calf starter containing a balanced blend of proteins and energy for growth and development.
Formulated with rolled corn, oats and cottonseed hulls, this coarse textured feed is designed for palatability as well as concentrated for effectiveness.
Beef-Max Cattle Conditioner I is designed as a concentrated grain starter ration to be fed with pasture and/or hay according to condition desired.
FEEDING
Proper feeding of calves requires individual feeding and attention. Variation in feeding amounts will differ among calves depending on calf type, breed and frame size.
- Feed as a complete starter and developer ration to weaned calves.
- Feed at a rate of 1-2 % bodyweight (BW) to weaned calves depending on desired weight gain.
- Young weaned calves intended for show should receive a minimum of about 1% bodyweight (BW) in hay or pasture per day, plus approximately 2% BW of Cattle Conditioner I.
- Feed to calves until they consistently consume approximately 2% BW for at least 3-4 weeks or reach 600 to 800 pounds, then, begin switching to Beef-Max Top Choice for development and finishing.
- Proper feeding of show calves and other rapidly growing animals requires individual feeding and attention. Variation in feeding amounts will differ among calves depending on calf type, breed, frame size and desired growth performance.
