488 Pellet

BeefMaxBeef Max 488 Pellet is a pelleted, all natural protein, medicated calf weaning ration featuring Aureomycin brand chlortetracycline and fortified with BIOPLEX QUADRA-FORMULA proteinated trace mineral blend. Formulated for maximum performance and efficiency, Beef Max 488 Pellet focuses on effective levels of medication and nutrient fortification in an easy to use concentrated pellet that calves will eat.

Beef Max 488 Pellet is a combination of digestible, high quality ingredients.  Cottonseed and Soybean Meals are combined with Wheat Middlings for concentrated, natural protein levels.  Effective fiber is derived from Soybean Hulls and Cottonseed Hulls. These ingredients together form a product that is forage compatible, making it safe and easy to feed and highly effective for weaning calves on pasture or in dry lots with hay.

Beef Max 488 Pellet is medicated with Aureomycin™ brand  chlortetracycline (CTC).  Feeding 4 pounds per animal per day delivers 350 mg of chlortetracycline, effective as an aid to prevent the loss of calf performance or death from bacterial pneumonia and shipping fever complex.

Bioplex  Quadra – Formula  Proteinated Trace Mineral Blend from Alltech™ completes the mix. Proper mineral supplementation for calves at weaning is critical for weaning success and calf performance. Optimal mineral status reduces the challenge from stress-related diseases and enhances vaccine response. Quadra-Formula is a blend of proteinated Cobalt, Copper, Manganese and Zinc designed for maximum mineral absorption and retention, providing essential fortification for increased mineral status in calves.
